All Auctions and Trades are AT YOUR OWN RISK. Realm Keepers is NOT responsible for transactions that occur here.
We have put together the following guide lines that all members should adhere to. The Free Market and Auction rules have been combined into one area for all members to have easy access to. The rules found here apply to auctions and trading threads. All members should take time to review all threads before starting.
Those who do not follow the rules risk having their thread closed or removed by the staff at FRRealmKeepers.proboards.com.
1.) You May not Claim an item or "Dibs" it. If you are interested in an item - post that you are.
If there is a buy-out on the item and you post interest in buying that out, please do not tell others to stop bidding. This is rude.
2.) You may not bully, beg or talk someone into making you an offer or taking your offer. there is to be no posts asking for people to "accept my offer now!" this is rude and will not be tolerated. You must be patient and wait your turn. If you have been declined, then you may try again later.
3.) Free Market threads are NOT chat threads. They are for trading. If you are looking for a place to discuss prices of items - please use our discussion and price check thread here: frrealmkeepers.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=selling&thread=9
4.) All Auctions MUST have an ending date and Time. This date/time can not be changed, if you do not accept a bid by the time the date passes you may start a new thread. If your auction is slated to end at 9:00 pm EST, the winning bid must occur at or before 8:59 pm EST because once the clock turns to 9:00 pm EST, the auction officially ends. The last person with a bid with an 8:59 pm EST time stamp would be named the winner. Posts with a 9:00 pm EST time stamp would be too late
5.) You may NOT auction/sell the same item on multiple threads. If you have one of that item, you only require one thread to sell it. You also may only have one thread to trade and one to auction items on (see Free Market FAQ).
6.) You may not offer or auction an item you do not have in hand yet. If you do not have the Station Cash Card in hand you may NOT sell it. If you do not have the coins you are bidding - do NOT bid them.
7.) In addition to above - Those who are buying an item must have the coin or item IN HAND. You may not bid coins or items you do not have yet. This goes for all possible free realms items.
8.) All codes MUST be Unused. Auctioning an Used code IS Scamming.
9.) You MUST list how many of each item you have in hand. Threads that do not specify how many Station Cash codes they have available will be closed.
10.) It is suggested - but not required - that all auctions have a starting point for bids and a minimal increase required. For example, a auction may start at 2,000 coins and have an increase of 500 coins each bid. Please respect these limits put on the auctions.
11.) There may only be one winner PER item. If you have two Station Cash Codes up for trade you may have two "buyers". You may NOT accept three winners and promise a code next week.
12.) All Auctions MUST take place in one area. For example: You may not post an auction on the Sony Free Realms forums and on FRRealmKeepers.proboards.com. This also includes other fan sites.
13.) All Auctions should take place on the thread and be open for all members to view for fair bidding.
14.) You may NOT sell coins for real life money. This is against the rules of Free Realms. All forms of payment MUST be limited to Free Realms Items, Free Realms Coins, or Station Cash cards. No other forms of payment will be allowed.
15.) Make an offer threads are not allowed. All threads must either have an end date and time to qualify as an auction, or a specified wants list to qualify as a trading thread.
16.) Raffles are not allowed in the Free Market at this time. There is too much potential for abuse in this area.
17.) Account selling is NOT allowed on FRRealmKeepers.proboards.com.
18.) NO Trade should offer or suggest the payment of real money in any form, be it through paypal or other means (such as iTunes cards or memberships to other games). This is not something that is allowed on FRRealmKeepers.proboards.com and any thread advertising selling items or coins this way should be reported to the staff ASAP. All forms of payment MUST be limited to Free Realms Items, Free Realms Coins, PSN cards, or Station Cash. No other forms of payment is allowed.
Both those selling and buying items are reminded that you must always be polite on FRRealmKeepers.proboards.com and that we are a family friendly form. If you do not agree with a price, think someone is not trust worthy or have other concerns you are not required to bid or post on that thread. Please do not accuse someone of scamming.
As always, remember to report any posts that concern you for a staff member to review. This will allow the situation to be handled in the best way possible. There is to be NO arguing or bickering over who gets what. You are not to tell people off for not following the rules - but to report it.
Thanks!
